Off-Road Racing is one of the motorsport activities due to appear in GTA 6.
Originally introduced in GTA: San Andreas, off-road racing has featured prominently in GTA 5 and GTA Online, with dedicated vehicle classes for this type of racing. The activity is returning in GTA 6, and we got our first look at it in action during the Extended Look. Lucia rides a Sanchez in an off-road race featuring several vehicle types, including bikes, ATVs, and even trucks. Having such a wide variety of vehicles competing on the same muddy track makes the race particularly interesting, with the racers speeding, jumping, and skidding around the course while kicking up dirt and leaving trails behind them.

In this particular race, we see over 12 vehicles competing across two laps. The race also shows some of the chaos you can expect, with one of the bikers falling off almost immediately after a jump before another rider crashes into his fallen bike. This shows that racers can collide with each other and be knocked off their bikes during an off-road race.

Lucia’s shorts and top have mud patches, and she’s wearing a helmet, like the other racers on bikes and ATVs. The area appears to be Mount Kalaga, where we also got our first look at dirt bikes racing along a muddy track in an official screenshot.

It’s nice to see how different each race type in GTA 6 feels, with off-road racing looking much closer to something from the MotorStorm series rather than just a random selection of vehicles racing around a track. The different vehicle types, muddy terrain, jumps, and collisions give this one a very distinct feel.
