Luke Stephens has a Dire Warning for GTA 6 Fans, and I’d Take it Seriously

This whole Cyberleek fiasco has some people on the internet quite worried, Luke Stephens included, and I’d be remiss not to at least share his message, which I wholeheartedly agree with.

Cyberleek has come back to post more GTA 6 leaks, reportedly of our main cast fully nude. I wouldn’t know, since I refuse to watch any of it, but this has led some in the industry to issue dire warnings, and I think it’s wise to take heed.

In a video talking about the leaks, Luke Stephens advised anyone interested in GTA 6 to look up how to block certain keywords on Social Media, since we’re probably going to see this situation recur a few more times before November 19. Some of the keywords I’d suggest include “GTA 6 Ending, Lucia Ending, Jason Ending, Lucia Death, Jason Death,” and so on. Luke goes so far as to recommend blocking everything GTA 6, but that’s a tad too far for me (though I work in the industry, so go figure).

Anything and everything that could potentially spoil something in GTA 6 should definitely be blocked, if you’re like me and hate spoilers. There are a number of helpful articles out there on how to block out keywords on everything from TikTok to Facebook to YouTube, most being easy to follow, so I won’t go into detail here.

This comes after Cyberleek threatened to release a fully playable build of GTA 6 if their coin reached a $30 million market cap. Suspiciously, the coin tumbled after reaching $24 million, dropping suddenly below $2 million within the span of two days.

In the first round of leaks, their coin reached over a $109 million market cap, before also tumbling below $2 million and then settling below $500k.

I honestly don’t have to spell it out for you, but this is clearly a scam artist at work. All this talk about being a crusade against the death of physical media is such obvious dressing; you’re gullible if you don’t see it. Or you’re desperate.

Scammers typically take advantage of the most vulnerable in society, feeding off of desperation and a lack of knowledge in certain cases. This is no different from this group or individual, who are simply taking advantage of a group of people watching their hobby increase in price while offering less and less.

It makes me sick, and I hope we can be smarter going forward and stop feeding people like this.
