FROM THE DESK OF KYLE
What A Week for GTA 6
It’s been one hell of a week, huh? Cyberleek returned with another leak that I simply refuse to watch. Though, working in the industry makes it really hard to not at least hear about what’s in the leak. I really hope there’s a toggle for the more… private physics, if you know what I mean.
Thankfully, the leak’s hearsay contents didn’t spoil anything new for me, because IGN posted their full Rockstar North interview just days before, in which it was confirmed that when Rob Nelson switched to Jason during this session, he was in the shower… naked. Fully. So yeah. (Jason, not Rob, haha)
We’re so close, and I really don’t want any more spoilers from this shady Cyberleek character so I sure hope Rockstar can grab him soon. But apart from that unpleasant news, Rockstar themselves dropped some of their own happier news.
Six radio stations from GTA 6 that we can go and preview on their official website. If you’ve been paying attention, you probably know what I clicked on first. But I’ll let you sit with the thought until we reach the banger of the week, which is straight from GTA 6.
Alright, enough yapping, and I’ll leave you with a final thought. GTA 6 launches next month. Let that sink in.
These are, indeed, the salad years.

THE HOTTEST NEWS THIS WEEK
Six Radio Stations Dropped for GTA 6
I didn’t notice until just now… GTA 6… Six radio stations. Ha, good one, Rockstar!
The radio stations are so varied, there’s something for everyone here. And there’s even a little MGMT on the Flash FM station, a guilty pleasure of mine. Don’t worry, I’ll lock in for the banger of the week and showcase some serious music today!
Ali did a great breakdown of the news here, and I updated our All Radio Stations post at lightning speed, so check those out if you want more info on what GTA 6 radio has in store for us.

SIMMERING
Jason Has Autism?
Let me start by saying that the rumor mill was taken down this week. But that won’t stop me from sharing the latest rumor that’s doing the rounds: that Jason is neurodivergent.
I mean, we haven’t really seen enough to make such a bold claim, but you’ve got to admit, there is a chance. I really like this rumor, and I kind of hope it’s true. If Jason is somewhere on the spectrum, that makes him a more interesting character, in my opinion.
And who better to tackle such a sensitive topic than Rockstar? They’ve never held back, but they’ve also always handled sensitive topics with stellar professionalism. In GTA games, one tends to laugh instead of feeling offended.
I speak for myself and my own circle, of course. If GTA games offend you, you probably shouldn’t be reading my newsletter, anyway.
Oop, look at that. I’m off yapping again. Let’s move on.
BANGER OF THE WEEK
I’m Broken
Pantera · 1994 · GTA 6, The Chamber 106.6
I was around for the Numetal craze that really popped off from 2000-2006ish. Korn, Slipknot, Static X, all great bands. But I do wonder, would any of them have existed if it wasn’t for Black Sabbath, Pantera, and Slayer, who pretty much blazed the trail here?
So let’s give this a listen and, if you’re not into heavy music, I’m so sorry.
This song is fun and heavy and all, but it also explores dark themes that I’m sure any deep thinker has pondered. I think that’s part of the reason it still appeals to me so many years later, even after my taste in music has mellowed out quite a bit. Been listening to Inner Light way too much.
As always, there’s a story here. These banging riffs were basically created thanks to a hangover, kinda. Dimebag Darrel, Pantera guitarist, walked into a soundcheck session with a mean hangover, and just started riffing whatever came to mind. This is the result.
The riff was so good, Kerry King, Slayer guitarist and The Chamber 106.6’s DJ in GTA 6, said that the opening to I’m Broken was his favorite guitar riff of all time.
I wonder if that’s still true. If, by some miracle, you’re reading this, Mr. King, reach out and let us know. It would be a dream come true to do an interview!
Alright, sorry to the mellow folk. Maybe I’ll see if I can dig up some Mumford & Sons or something for next week.
SCREENSHOTS OF THE WEEK
Screenshots of the Week
The best shots so far — community, our own footage, and official sources.
Alright, this isn’t a screenshot, but damn is it a cool design. And given the banger of the week, I might as well go all the way here, huh?

The Chamber 106.6 is Leonida’s heavy metal station, featuring artists like Black Sabbath, Slayer, and, of course, Pantera. I can’t wait to listen to the rest and see what other forgotten gems we’ll find here.
I wonder what the Mascot’s name is? Care to hazard a guess? The Demon, perhaps? Alternatively, Sene Gimmons or Saul Ptanley? If you know, you know.
