Being Excited About The Weather Has Me Feeling Like An Old Man

Yeah, I’m excited about the weather in GTA 6, after Game Informers exclusive article. That’s the one thing that stood out to me most, with the other stuff mostly being confirmed ahead of time already, but more on that next.

This got me thinking back to the older GTA games, and how every one had something special about it, but none could handle too many systems at a time. GTA 6 is clearly like nothing we’ve ever seen before, and yet there are still people swearing they won’t buy it because of some silly political agenda.

Others, whom I’m less keen to criticize, want to boycott over the lack of a physical disc. But, can you really miss out on the biggest and most mind-blowing entertainment product of all time simply because they didn’t include a disc?

Yeah, it’s not ideal. We all wish they’d include a disc, but quite simply, they won’t, and any sort of boycott will hardly influence their bottom line.

But I digress. My point is that we’ve never seen anything like GTA 6, and I’m not sure we ever will again — at least until RDR 3. And what we’re seeing is only the beginning, too.

Think back (if you were around for it) to how massively GTA 5 improved from Launch on the PS3, to where it is now. GTA 6 will likely follow a similar trajectory, and even though it looks mind-blowing now, we have no idea just how amazing it’ll be a few years from now.

But enough yapping. This week we’ve got GTA 6’s weather, more answered questions, and a high-flying banger of the week.

GTA 6 Weather System Explained

Dynamic clouds that roll across the map, just like in real life. That’s what GTA 6 has in store for us, among the thousands of other little things that make it a Rockstar game.

I know this sounds silly, but surely a system like this in a game is heavy on processing power. I just don’t know how Rockstar manage stuff like this. I can’t help but wonder, how much does this one system impact performance?

HALF-CONFIRMED

Dynamic hurricanes and tornadoes were planned for GTA 6 but may have been cut

This rumor went up basically as soon as we had the site going, and this week it’s been half-confirmed. Dynamic hurricanes will be in the game, and if you read between the lines, tornadoes might well make an appearance too.

Obviously, the “may have been cut” part can still apply to the tornadoes, but with the hurricanes and tropical thunderstorms being confirmed, we’re all but done with this rumor.

BANGER OF THE WEEK

This week I decided on this high-flying classic that’s become such a popular meme song. Did you even know that the original song is over nine minutes long? It really kicks off at the 4:40 mark, but it’s a chill, easy listen if you’re in the right mood.

Ah, man, when guitar solos were still guitar solos. What a song! The shortened single version is still good, but in my opinion, nothing beats the original album version.

There’s nothing too special about it, it’s more about the gang it represents.

I can’t help but wonder, will they be friend or foe? And while it’s doubtful Johnny will return, given his untimely end in GTA 5, will we see a long lost son, brother, or something else return in his memory?

Most GTA protagonists have been at odds with the biker gangs, so there’s a good chance we’ll have to fight these guys most often than not. Though I wouldn’t mind grabbing one of their motorcycles after all is said and done and cruising the highway while listening to our banger of the week at full blast.
