Colt Python GTA VI

A Colt Python-inspired revolver is set to appear in GTA VI. It’s a large calibre revolver with a six-round magazine capacity that packs a heavy punch. It was spotted in an official screenshot on the Rockstar GTA VI website.

Heavy Revolver

The Colt Python-inspired revolver can easily take on the role as either the standard revolver or the heavy revolver. It will all depend on which other revolver might be added to the game, and whether it’s a larger or smaller caliber.

Etched into the barrel on the screenshot, however, is the name “Mustang” which is likely the brand name and won’t feature in the official name of the revolver. This is no more than an educated guess, however, and we may well be looking at the Mustang .357 in GTA VI.

Weapon History

The Colt Python was last represented in a major release back in 2002 in GTA: Vice City, so a return in GTA VI and the shores of Vice City would be poetic. It was also seen in Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories, but hasn’t featured in any mainline games apart from Vice City.
