Crowbar

The crowbar is set to return in GTA 6 after also featuring in GTA 5. It was initially spotted in the unfortunate 2022 leaks, and is set to be part of GTA6 as an optional melee weapon.

The 2026 information and Extended Showcase gave us a lot more information, too, and while the crowbar hasn’t been spotted in official sources since, we now know that we won’t be able to carry whatever we want at all times in GTA 6. This makes it possible that the crowbar will have to be carried on a toolbelt, on the back with a sling, or in the hands.

Alternatively, we should be able to store the crowbar in the car boot or truck bed while not actively using it.

It’s also highly likely that the crowbar will be needed to open crates and perhaps even doors or windows throughout the game, being an actual tool and not just a melee weapon. This has not yet been confirmed, but we do know that other tools in the game exist for opening doors, such as the snapgun.
