The Flashbang is set to appear in a GTA game for the first time in GTA 6. It was spotted in the unfortunate 2022 leaks and is generally used as a tactical option by specialist law enforcement. It blinds and disorients those caught in its blast and is likely to have a similar function in GTA 6.

It’s highly likely that we’ll be able to buy them from Ammunation. However, their use is likely to be quite limited and mission-specific, unless the more creative criminals among us find ways to use them in robberies, of course.

Since it’s the first appearance of the Flashbang in GTA games, we’re not quite sure what to expect, so we’ll just have to wait for official confirmation to know what’s in store for this throwable weapon.
