Hunting Rifle GTA VI

The hunting rifle looks to be a brand-new addition to GTA VI. We aren’t entirely sure what it might be called, so “hunting rifle” is currently a placeholder, but if the official promotional material is to be believed, it’s definitely coming.

Weapon History

We’ve never had a modern hunting rifle in GTA before. Instead, we’ve always had the Sniper Rifle, which is a far more tactical weapon than a traditional hunting rifle. The Heavy Sniper is also a tactical sniper rifle that deals more damage than the normal one.

While hunting rifles likely won’t be used in combat, they do point towards there being some form of hunting mini game in GTA VI, but only time will tell.
