Marksman Rifle GTA VI

We can be fairly sure that the Marksman Rifle will return in GTA VI, but there is some room for speculation about what form it will take. In GTA V, the Marksman Rifle was based on an M39 and M14, mostly. We’ve spotted what appears to be a Marksman Rifle, only this time it appears to be the M1A.

Weapon History

The marksman rifle was introduced in GTA Online for the first time, inspired by the M39 and M14 battle rifles. The M14, specifically, was inspired by and replaced the M1 Garand – the classic WW2 battle rifle. The M1A is considered to be a “civilian battle rifle,” being semi-automatic and modeled after the M14.

In the screenshot, however, it appears as though some citizens of Leonida are using it for poaching.
