The RPG, a staple of the series since GTA 3, is set to return in GTA 6. It’s a no-brainer that it will return, but it was also spotted in those unfortunate 2022 leaks. The image we have here is of the Grenade Launcher while we wait for an official look.

RPG is short for Rocket Propelled Grenade, and it’s traditionally an anti-tank weapon based on the real-life RPG. In the GTA universe, it’s used more often to blow up cars, hit players behind cover in GTA Online, or fire rockets at Michael’s house in GTA 5 just for fun.

There is one caveat to the RPG in GTA 6, however, and that’s that you can’t pull it out of thin air anymore. A weapon of its size will take up one of your valuable weapon slots, so planning when to bring it along will be crucial. It will still be useful in taking out cars and choppers, we imagine, but limited ammo will quickly become a problem if you try to use it as a main weapon.

In GTA 6, it’s manufactured by Shrewsbury, a fictional weapons manufacturer in the game. It will likely be available from Ammunation for a fairly hefty amount, if previous games in the series are taken into account.
