The trusty old SMG is coming to GTA VI, as confirmed by Trailer 2, where both Jason and Lucia are spotted holding an MP5, the inspiration for the SMG in GTA.
Weapon History
The SMG as we know it now (resembling the HK MP5) appeared in GTA: San Andreas for the first time, and has been a staple of the series since. It’s an easy-to-handle, reliable weapon for all sorts of GTA-related activities.
Not to be confused with other variants, such as the Micro SMG (Uzi) or Assault SMG, the SMG is the standard submachine gun in the GTA universe.
