DDG Says Young Gamers Should Forget About GTA 6. “This Game Is for Older Dudes”

The extended look at GTA 6 gave rise to all sorts of reactions from streamers. While most streamers primarily just voiced how great the game looks, others took the time to say things a little more controversial. The popular streamer and rapper DDG falls in the latter category with what he said.

According to him, Grand Theft Auto 6 is only for those people who grew up with the franchise. Those who didn’t even get to play the original Vice City game should be allowed to play Grand Theft Auto 6, because the game just isn’t for them. DDG elaborates by saying that he was fifteen when GTA 5 came out and that he’s close to thirty at this point.

The streamer says that the game was made for him, and that he’s going to be “living” it. While he’s going to try his best to reach the chat every now and then, he’s been waiting for GTA 6 for so long that he’ll be enjoying every second of it. All the young gamers should just let the older gamers have this and stick to “playing the new stuff.”

DDG Thinks GTA 6 Belongs to a Different Generation

While DDG’s rant seemed like it didn’t make any sense to some, others were on the streamer’s side. Many fans stated that GTA 6 was for all of the fallen gamers who didn’t live to see this day, and that the entire hype around the game just doesn’t make sense, considering more than half of them are “larping.”

DDG stated that those who didn’t experience the changing generations or don’t know about Tommy Vercetti from Vice City shouldn’t touch this game. Some of his fans agree with this take, saying that those who have only played GTA 5, and that too on the PS5 or some other modern platform, shouldn’t get to experience the “greatness” of GTA 6.
