The GTA 6 map is a pretty popular topic right now, with the mapping community having created what should be a fairly accurate representation of the Leonida we’re likely to see in GTA 6. One fan, however, has taken things to the next level.

Cities: Skylines II player Doxas has created the entire GTA 6 map inside the popular city builder and uploaded it as a mod for us to peruse. The map includes all of the areas currently known in GTA 6 and is based on the GTA Mapping project, a Discord community that has gone to great lengths, using every trailer and screenshot Rockstar has given us, to make a likely accurate GTA 6 map.
Some of Vice City is also based on those infamous 2022 leaks.
Doxas, or noasden on YouTube, made a detailed video showing how he created this map and what tools he used. The video is a bit long, but goes into a lot of detail and is a good watch if you’re interested in the process. Else, there’s also a five-minute showcase of the map.

Of course, if you have Cities: Skylines II, you can also download the mod and check it out yourself, but one caveat is that you’ll need the pre-order bonuses for the game. If you didn’t pre-order Skylines II, you can still apparently get the pre-order edition today, but please do double-check licensing and that you’re obtaining the game from a legitimate source. Otherwise, you can explore with Luke Stephens, who made a great video on the map.
This is an insane commitment to creating stuff for the community, and I commend noasden/Doxas for their efforts. It must have taken quite some time, but now we can finally get an on-street look at what should be pretty close to the actual GTA 6 map.
About the author
Kyle first stumbled upon GTA back in 1998 on a school computer, and has been hooked ever since. After missing Vice City, he has not missed another title in the GTA universe. He strongly believes that GTA 4 is still the best, and hopes that GTA 6 can finally dethrone that 18-year-old game.
