Grand Theft Auto 6 is shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest launches. While multiple streamers are planning to hop on the GTA 6 hype train when it comes out, the streaming platform Twitch has apparently started putting all of its eggs into the GTA basket as well, at least looking at the campaign that the platform is currently running.
Twitch has started the GTA RP Week campaign to celebrate the launch of nopixel V, which is a Rockstar-backed roleplaying server. While it’s called RP Week, it’ll actually run for much longer than that, since players will have until September 30 to avail of its benefits.

As for what it has, the key feature is that tuning into any nopixel V streamer while the campaign is ongoing can let viewers earn up to GTA $1,500,000 and the Burger Shot Tracksuit. This isn’t all, as the amount of money players can get depends on how much they watch the associated streamers.
Multiple streamers are part of NoPixel this year. Some of the most popular include burn, Kiwo, Curvyelephant, Sayeed, AnthonyZ, jennybeartv, Ziggy, Carmen, Nakkida, Kiva, xQc, and ssaab. Twitch has gone so far as to promote the custom GTA V extension that players can use to stay informed on everything related to the nopixel server.

Twitch Likely Expects GTA 6 To Be a Goldmine
Twitch promoting GTA roleplay right now is no coincidence. Grand Theft Auto 6’s launch is just around the corner, and there’s a good chance that Twitch wants to start promoting GTA streaming content on the platform sooner rather than later.
A bunch of known streamers are already considering streaming GTA 6, so giving more creators the push needed to consistently stream the game should be a good idea. Not to mention, considering NoPixel is now officially partnered with Rockstar, it wouldn’t be surprising if Twitch wants Rockstar to collaborate with the platform again for GTA 6.
