Rockstar has just released the launch trailer for GTA 6, even though the game is still a while away from release. The trailer features a brand-new standalone Justice single, “Flower in a Hurricane,” featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. That’s not all Justice is contributing to Rockstar’s next title, as the French electronic duo is also composing the original soundtrack for GTA 6.

Justice Is Composing the GTA 6 Original Soundtrack

Rockstar has officially confirmed that Justice, the electronic duo consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, is composing the original score for Grand Theft Auto VI. The French duo also contributed new music to the game’s Launch Trailer, featuring their standalone single, “Flower in a Hurricane,” with Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. You can listen to it now on major streaming services and YouTube:

Here’s the official announcement bit from their newswire:

Check out the new Launch Trailer, featuring new music from electronic duo Justice, composers of the original score from Grand Theft Auto VI.

The original track is included on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, which is available to pre-save on major music streaming services and pre-order on vinyl and CD. Rockstar has also confirmed that more information about the game’s music, including the official score album, will be shared at a later date.

The launch trailer for GTA 6 is a real treat, featuring plenty of new imagery, character-specific moments, dialogue, and even a steamy shower scene with Lucia and Jason. The new track perfectly fits the Miami-inspired setting and the focus on Jason and Lucia as a duo on the run. If I had to guess, this is the last major trailer we’ll see before release, though Rockstar could still share some gameplay footage.

Much like Tangerine Dream’s work on GTA 5, Justice’s involvement suggests Rockstar has something special in store for GTA 6’s original score. My only hope is that the main theme is as memorable as GTA: San Andreas and GTA IV’s!
