Remember the days when we were starved for any scrap of information we could get our hands on? Well, those days are long gone, as Rockstar has just released yet another trailer for GTA 6, featuring our power duo, and Raul choking someone while he eats fried chicken, which I thought was really funny.
We also learn a little bit more about Jason’s backstory: that he didn’t leave the army on the best of terms. Sounds like a court-martial to me, so we now have a strong reason to suspect that Jason didn’t leave the army of his own accord.
“They don’t give loans or anything to people like me,” Jason says a few seconds into the trailer, giving us insight into why he does what he does. Not that it’s justification for being a criminal, but it’s nice to see Rockstar doing great work in painting our bad guys good.
We also see that same iguana that repeatedly appears in the promotional materials. I’m really starting to wonder what the significance of that is.

And we hear a brand-new song, Flower in a Hurricane, for the first time, which is pretty dang sweet.
Other than that, there’s nothing of massive significance in the new trailer. We get a bunch of action scenes, one scene where Lucia is wearing her ankle monitor in the shower with Jason, and then the trailer pretty much ends.
It’s awesome, though, isn’t it? Once upon a time, we would have given anything for the smallest scrap of information. Rockstar is really on a roll and is spoiling us now.
Then again, the game launches in just over a month, so it’s about time.
