During today’s State of Play, Sony made a dedicated Grand Theft Auto VI announcement, revealing two new limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers inspired by modern-day Vice City. Both controllers feature a shimmering, color-shifting finish, custom palm tree details, and official GTA 6 branding. Here’s everything you need to know.
GTA 6 Limited Edition DualSense Controllers
PlayStation revealed two new DualSense Wireless Controllers during today’s State of Play, available in black and white variants. Both feature a shimmering, color-shifting finish inspired by the hues of a Vice City sunset and the glow of its neon lights. The controllers also feature custom palm tree details molded directly into the controller, alongside official VI branding on the touchpad.

According to PlayStation, the White Edition is inspired by Vice City at daybreak, with its white sands, pastel skies, and laid-back glamour. The Black Edition, meanwhile, captures the energy of Vice City’s iconic nightlife.

Both controllers will be available in limited quantities:
- The White Edition will be sold through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers
- The Black Edition will be available exclusively through PlayStation Direct where available and through select retailers in other regions.
GTA 6 DualSense Features Announced
In addition to the controller announcement, PlayStation confirmed that GTA 6 will support the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
According to PlayStation, these features will “instantly respond to the action and provide dynamic resistance, bringing the sights, sounds and sensations of Jason and Lucia’s story to life in your hands”.
GTA 6 Limited Edition DualSense Controllers Release Date
Both controller variants will launch starting November 19, 2026. The exact launch date and availability may vary by country or region.
GTA 6 Limited Edition DualSense Controllers Price and Pre-Orders
Both the white and black GTA 6 Limited Edition controllers are priced at $84.99 USD / €84.99 / £74.99 / ¥12,480.
Pre-orders open September 10 at 10:00 AM local time. In the U.S., pre-orders begin at 7:00 AM PT / 10:00 AM ET. Additionally, eligible pre-orders made directly through PlayStation will also receive free launch-day delivery.
