Prediction for GTA 6 Custom Games

The most popular way to experience GTA Online was through custom games. Players would make their own crew, and browse through weekly custom games. Throughout the GTA Online lifespan, several types of modes were always popular, and with the ambitious scope of GTA 6 and its UGC and custom games, we can speculate on some new ones.

Here are the custom games in GTA 6 that we predict will be most popular.

Custom Games

Custom Races

Since the release of GTA Online, the most played community-made game mode was custom races, and that will not change for GTA 6. These races vary from on-map tracks, to custom circuits that break the map design and use creator assets to race across the sky. With GTA 6 pushing the series forward, you will have various vehicles from kayaks, dirt bikes, maybe even tricycles for new and fun ways to race.

This will most definitely still be the standard for GTA 6 UGC going forward.

Custom Heists

With the expanded world, and if Gerard “HipHopGamer” Williams’s words can be taken gospel, there will be way more explorable rooms and buildings in GTA 6. This means custom heists can be expanded more than ever with new routes, unique holding locations, and more creativity for interrogations.

Tycoons

One popular genre on similar platforms are Tycoon games, where players start their business and casually watch as it grows into an empire. Tycoon games are simple single-player experiences, but can have a multiplayer twist in GTA with its expansive online services. This could even lead into interesting turf wars that could not be fully realized in GTA 5.

Sniper versus Stunters

One of the more famous modes, where 2 teams of players are on opposite factions. One group tries to traverse the terrain in order to get to safety, while the others are trying to shoot them down. With more possible tools and weapons, this mode will have a fresh coat of gold paint.

Hide n Seek

With GTA 6 having the most expansive map in the series, you will have more places to explore, and with that, more places to hide. There will be some very bastard locations for hiders, like bathrooms in skyscrapers, and even underwater abandoned ships for the creatives.

Sports

One aspect of GTA 5 that didn’t make it into online much was the sports modes. You could play golf, tennis, and much more. Hopefully we will see some of these mini games expanded in GTA 6 with online modes and perhaps with new sports! We’ve seen 8-Ball Pool showcased in the trailer, and time will tell if it will make a return in the series.
