Those who were around during the golden years of GTA 5 roleplaying will likely be familiar with many identifiable creators. While a lot of them returned for NoPixel V, a handful of them didn’t return, with some creators even saying outright that they were denied access to the server.
According to xQc, the reasoning may be much more severe than most fans initially expected. During a stream on September 8, the streamer said that several players left NoPixel, publicly criticized its owners, developers, and players, and attempted to take control of the server in the background.
While xQc didn’t drop any names, fans were quick to point out that most of the creators who haven’t been invited to NoPixel V are currently part of Prodigy. Owned by Summit’s agency, Prodigy is essentially a rival server that’s competing with NoPixel V. The kicker is that Prodigy is made up of multiple prominent GTA RP streamers who used to be affiliated with NoPixel.
In particular, Chang Gang was formerly one of the biggest criminal factions in NoPixel. Considering the group has been playing on Prodigy, many fans believe that it makes sense that the group wouldn’t be invited to NoPixel V. Not to mention, Chang Gang’s members have had repeated conflicts with NoPixel’s administration over the years.

However, that isn’t all. There were also previous rumors that some members of Chang Gang attempted to recruit xQc and some NoPixel developers. In particular, fans pointed fingers at Whippy and Ramee, though xQc refusing to say any names means that it’s all just speculation on fans’ part.
Why xQc’s Claims Carry So Much Weight
xQc’s accusation shouldn’t be taken lightly. While he’s one of the biggest streamers playing on NoPixel V, he also has a stake in the server. In particular, he owns 25% of NoPixel V, which means he has a direct connection to the server. His saying that streamers weren’t invited because they allegedly coordinated an attempt to take over holds more weight than the word of most unrelated creators.
With that being said, xQc did say that the Chang Gang group, including Summit, can just ask to play on NoPixel V. He said that the whole thing was a nothingburger and that things would just be solved if they asked instead of saying they weren’t invited.
