There are a number of robberies in GTA 6 that have been confirmed ahead of release, thanks to previews and trailers. There are almost certainly many more to come as we delve into GTA 6 and discover all the many robberies we’ll be able to do.

Until we can get our hands on the game, here’s what we have to look forward to.

How Robberies Work in GTA 6

From what we’ve seen so far, robberies are available in free roam, though some require significantly more planning and may even require more advanced tools and crew members, all of which are likely to cost money. Like GTA 5, we can likely pretty easily rob convenience stores and gas stations, but we could also potentially score much bigger takes.

As confirmed in the previews, specifically from TGG, there are different tiers to robberies. For example, a bank would be a far harder target and require more planning than a liquor store. The take on a bank would also be significantly higher.

With that in mind, here are all the robberies in GTA 6, sorted by their most likely tiers. We will, of course, update this article when we’ve played the game and we know more.

All Robberies in GTA 6

Tier 1 Robberies

The tier one robberies include the easiest targets with the lowest potential takes. We see a number of these in different trailers and the Extended Look, so here’s what we’ve spotted so far.

  • Convenience stores
  • Gas stations
  • liquor stores
  • Electronic repair or sales stores
  • Pawn shops
  • Payday loan businesses

Tier 2 Robberies

Tier two robberies include larger luxury retailers and may also include big electronics stores or other expensive types of retail. The second tier may also contain smaller banks, but for now we’ve moved banks up a tier.

  • Jewelry stores

Tier 3 Robberies

The third tier likely includes the most valuable legal tenders. This could include shops that trade in gold, high-end pawn shops with collectible items, museums, and other specialist trading stores with high security, armed guards, and CCTV. So far, however, we’ve only spotted the bank robberies in the Launch trailer and official screenshots.

  • Banks

Tier 4 Robberies

These will be the hardest of the lot, and you’re likely to meet plenty of resistance while trying to tackle one of these. We again only have one confirmed type of robbery that’ll end up here in the list, but it could also in future include things like art collectors’ mansions filled to the brim with armed guards, vicious dogs, and high-end security systems; or even something like the Union Depository from GTA 5.

  • Gang Compounds

And that’s our list so far. Naturally, it’s light for the moment, but expect plenty of additional locations to be added after we’ve had our hands on GTA 6 for a while. We’re sure there will be plenty to do in the game, and we can’t wait to bring you all the details on how to rob what.
