A 25-year-old music and gaming content creator named Jerry has been making videos on the platform since 2022. In addition to Kingdom Hearts, GTA 6 was one of the games he’s most excited to play. Unfortunately for him, he found himself fighting for his life in the hospital just months before Rockstar Games’ next big project is supposed to come out.
Jerry posted a video on his @voidonly TikTok account showing himself attached to an oxygen tube. The caption stated, “Rockstar and their delays man…” while the on-screen text read “I just want to play GTA VI.”
The creator informed his community that he was going to be in the ICU until he got a lung transplant. While the doctors were hopeful for his situation, he said that he’s an extremely “spirited individual,” so wherever he goes will be great.

According to the GoFundMe page established by Jerry’s parent, Paris Fort, Jerry has been battling interstitial lung disease since he was 17. According to Paris, their son had “pushed through the pain” every time to ensure he made time for the people he loved. Now, getting a lung transplant was the only way he would be able to start moving toward a better future.
Fans Quickly Pulled Together to Help Jerry
Jerry’s video quickly went viral on TikTok, ensuring that there were more eyes on the GoFundMe. The charity page aimed to hit $15,000, but the number quickly smashed $90,000. The number continues to shoot up as people donate to the cause anonymously and by attaching their names.
@voidonly Thank you all
It seems as though people from all sorts of communities are banding together for Jerry. One person who donated to the GoFundMe commented, “May your heart be your guiding key, brother,” which is a clear nod to the Kingdom Hearts series. Someone else said, “Can’t wait to see you stream GTA 6.”
Jerry also made a follow-up video on TikTok. He thanked his community for all of the love they showed him with tears in his eyes, before confirming that he would be streaming GTA 6 when it comes out. “That’s going to be our goal as a community,” he said. With reignited passion and hope, countless people are wishing for Jerry’s speedy recovery.
