Ambrosia is one of the main cities in Leonida, appearing in Grand Theft Auto VI. It is very likely based on Clewiston, a real-world city in Florida known for its deep ties to the sugar industry.

Ambrosia lies in the heart of Leonida and serves as one of the state’s primary industrial hubs. Its economy is heavily centered around sugar production, an industry that generates significant wealth while providing steady employment for much of the local population.

Despite its economic importance, Ambrosia retains a strong sense of old-school values, whether in the industry or the political alliances. Rockstar describes Ambrosia as “Keeping Leonida Sweet,” a clear nod to Clewiston, famously known as “America’s Sweetest Town.”

The Final Chapter is a motorcycle club based in Ambrosia, reportedly founded in 1982, based on their cut-off patches. While little is known about the group, it appears to operate under a strict hierarchical structure with Enforcers and so on.

Like many outlaw motorcycle clubs appearing in previous Grand Theft Auto VI, the Final Chapter is most certainly involved in both legitimate business and organized criminal activity, potentially playing a significant role in Ambrosia’s underworld and the main story.

Erin Henshaw is running for mayor in Ambrosia, with their campaign slogans visible in official screenshots. Their campaign appears to be closely aligned with the Allied Crystal Corporation, as its branding is prominently featured on their promotional signs.

Arguably the most important landmark in Ambrosia, the Allied Crystal Sugar Refinery forms the backbone of the city’s economy. It serves as the primary source of employment for many residents and stands as a symbol of the region’s industrial identity.

It’s likely based on the real-world U.S. Sugar Corporation, which is also based on Clewstone, which Ambrosia is clearly inspired by.
