GTA 6 features a sprawling open world with several notable regions, each with its own culture, history, and criminal presence. Just like previous GTA titles, criminal organizations, gangs, and factions return in GTA 6, and both Jason and Lucia will work with and against them throughout the campaign in main and side missions.
Here are every gang and faction officially announced by Rockstar and spotted in trailers and screenshots, as well as speculated contenders likely to return in GTA 6.
Confirmed Gangs in GTA 6
As of writing, two gangs have been confirmed and named for GTA 6, with one appearing in the marketing, while the emblem of the other can be briefly spotted in both trailers.
Final Chapter – Motorcycle Club
The Final Chapter is a motorcycle club based in Ambrosia, officially revealed in screenshots from Rockstar. They can be seen riding in a group and driving different motorcycles, including the iconic Avarus, across a street in Ambrosia. The motorcycle club has been active since 1982, based on the cut-off patches on the members’ jackets.

Not much is known about the club as of now, but one of the members has an “ENFORCER” tag on his jacket, hinting at a hierarchical structure within the gang, which is also typical of real-life motorcycle clubs. He is also seen wearing a “Liberty City Cycles” cap, which manufactures the Avarus bikes.

Like previous motorcycle clubs appearing in GTA titles, they are likely to be involved in both legitimate business and organized criminal activity, and have a significant presence in Ambrosia’s crime network.
San4San
Nothing official is known about San4San, but the gang’s emblem has been spotted in both trailers for GTA 6.

It is speculated to be a Haitian gang based on leaks, possibly connected to the Haitians from the original Vice City. An NPC in the first trailer can be seen wearing a blue bandana similar to the ones worn by members of the Haitians, though it isn’t clear if he’s actually part of the San4San.

Speculated Gangs and Criminal Organizations
Given the setting, it is easy to assume that players will encounter the following criminal organizations, some of which have also been hinted at in leaks:
- Colombian Cartel: Cartel-related activity is almost guaranteed based on the setting and the region’s history.
- Los Cabrones: A prominent gang from the original Vice City that later appeared in GTA 4 as well.
- Right-Wing Militia: Some form of right-wing extremist activity was mentioned in the 2022 leaks, with the Right-Wing Militia reportedly involved and named.
- More Motorcycle Clubs: Other biker gangs, such as the Vice City Bikers and the Angels of Death, could also appear in GTA 6.
- Street Gangs: GTA 6’s version of Vice City will likely feature several local street gangs inspired by Miami and broader Florida gang culture, potentially controlling different neighborhoods and districts across Leonida.
- Smuggling Operations: With Leonida featuring coastal regions, swamps, and island areas, organized smuggling operations involving drugs, weapons, and illegal trafficking could play a major role in the criminal underworld. Brian Heder is a known smuggler operating out of his Brian’s Boat Works & Marina, which both Jason and Cal Hampton are involved in as well.
- Prison Gangs: Given Lucia’s confirmed prison background in Leonida Penitentiary, prison-affiliated gangs or criminal connections formed behind bars could also appear during the story.
- Influencer and Scam Networks: GTA 6’s heavy focus on social media satire could introduce modern criminal groups built around scams, viral stunts, crypto schemes, and influencer culture.
- Cuban-Inspired Gangs: Like the original Vice City, GTA 6 could feature gangs inspired by Miami’s diverse cultural landscape, including Haitian and Cuban criminal organizations.
None of these groups has been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games yet, but their inclusion would fit naturally within Leonida’s setting and the series’ history.
Rockstar has never shied away from featuring a wide range of criminal factions from different regions and cultural backgrounds, which helps make their worlds feel immersive and grounded. Many of the best side characters in the franchise have come from these seemingly unimportant gangs, and I cannot wait to see how far Rockstar takes gang interaction and influence in GTA 6.
