Fishing

Fishing first appeared as a fully fleshed-out activity in a Rockstar game with Red Dead Redemption 2, and it is likely to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI as well.

Fishing has been explicitly mentioned in Mount Kalaga’s official description:

A national landmark up against the state’s northern border, Mount Kalaga offers prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails.

In one of the official screenshots, Jason is shown using a fishing rod alongside Cal Hampton on a boat in Leonida Keys. Given the abundance of coastal regions in Leonida, fishing would be a natural fit for the setting, especially when it already exists in a fairly detailed form in Red Dead Redemption 2.
