FaZe Banks Wants to Bring FaZe Clan Back for GTA 6. This Time, They’re Taking Over Miami

The launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 is understandably expected to be one of the biggest launches of the decade. Fans finally got a closer look at the game thanks to the extended look that was available on Netflix, with multiple streamers reacting to it live. Banks was one of those streamers, and he said something interesting.

Banks hasn’t had the best couple of years. From multiple allegations to the disbanding of the FaZe clan that he founded, it isn’t a stretch to say that he has fallen out of the limelight. However, the former Call of Duty YouTuber stated that he will be reviving FaZe Clan when Grand Theft Auto 6 comes out.

The former FaZe Clan players are largely doing their own thing, which is why Banks will likely be recruiting new streamers to join the team. He didn’t mention who would be part of the new clan, but he did say that there would be six streamers, likely to attempt to recreate the magic of the founding FaZe Clan members.

The FaZe House Is Heading to Miami

According to Banks, he’s going to build a house in Miami. He stated that he’s going to call it the new FaZe House, and the gang will basically “live off of GTA 6.” Since Grand Theft Auto 6 is set in the in-game equivalent of Miami, this would be a good setting for a FaZe Clan that specifically revolves around GTA 6.

Naturally, the responses were fairly mixed. Most commenters said that Banks has lost all credibility, and that he clearly can’t run another content creator organization. On the other hand, some former FaZe fans are hopeful that this could mean the return of the classic “FaZe Magic.”

Ultimately, while there’s definitely potential for a new FaZe Clan revolving around GTA 6 to flourish, it won’t be easy. Most streamers will be attempting to make a name for themselves through this game, which means that the competition will be high. Having the new clan be made of new streamers could be a disadvantage, since the FaZe name doesn’t have the same power to pull fans as it did before.
