Grand Theft Auto’s extended look finally gave fans their first look at how the game looks in real time. However, the gameplay was showcased in 30 FPS instead of the typical 60 FPS, which has caused some controversy in the online gaming space. Ice Poseidon is one of the most vocal defenders of the game being in 30 FPS, and he had some choice words to say.
According to the streamer, there’s no need for Grand Theft Auto 6 to be in 60 FPS. He says that the game isn’t Fortnite, and it isn’t meant to be a competitive game where you have to perform well. Instead, the game is supposed to be a cinematic experience, and playing it in 30 FPS will make things feel better.
Ice Poseidon GOES OFF on GTA 6 critics complaining about 30 FPS, saying he’d rather have “Better Graphics at 30 FPS” than 60 FPS 💀
''imagine wanting to play 60 fps bro it's like you're playing Fortnite ,it's ain't Fortnite''

Ice Poseidon then elaborated by saying that the graphics are the most important thing in a game such as this. He asked his fans whether they would have worse graphics but 60 FPS or amazing graphics in 30 FPS. Naturally, he didn’t tally his chat’s answers, but he reinforced his opinion by saying that 30 FPS is the way to go if Rockstar Games wants GTA 6 to feel real.

Ice Poseidon Doesn’t Think the GTA 6 Extended Look Was Scripted
To add to his opinion about GTA 6 being a cinematic experience, he said that he doesn’t think the gameplay shown in the extended look was scripted. From large pickup trucks flipping because of their size to smaller police cars coming to a halt after their tires are shot, he says that everything depends on the choices the player makes.
The reactions to Ice Poseidon’s opinion were understandably divisive. While some agreed with the streamer by saying that better graphics are more important, others believe that the entire debate is pointless. According to them, players will have the option to play the game at 30 FPS with 4K graphics or at 60 FPS in 1080p.
