Rockstar Games dropped a brand new piece of marketing material on a random Thursday, officially kicking off the next phase of GTA 6 marketing. This includes the game’s detailed box art in Rockstar’s iconic GTA cover style, along with the official date when pre-orders will begin.
GTA 6 Box Art
The GTA 6 box art follows the classic Grand Theft Auto template and features several characters, vehicles, and locations that players can expect to encounter across Leonida. Oh, and the top left tile features a helicopter in true Rockstar fashion, specifically the Sea Sparrow.
Here’s the full cover art for GTA 6 in all its glory:

The cover also features Boobie Ike, Raul Batista, an alligator, a mystery female character dressed in a cropped jersey and bikini bottoms, a blue speedboat, a supercar, and the Alvino V1 bike.
GTA 6 Pre-Order Date
Alongside the cover reveal, Rockstar confirmed that pre-orders for GTA 6 will begin on June 25, 2026.
Once again, Rockstar has listed only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as platforms for GTA 6, with no mention of PC. Make sure to add GTA 6 to your wishlist on the PlayStation and Xbox Stores, so you know when pre-orders go live on your preferred platform.
New Jason and Lucia Artwork
Rockstar has also updated its media library on the official website with new key art featuring Jason and Lucia, using the same imagery seen on the official box art. Lucia can be seen holding what appears to be a Bersa Firestorm 380-inspired pistol.

This is likely just the first step in Rockstar’s marketing push for GTA 6. With pre-orders set to open later this month, it’s reasonable to expect a new trailer before then, potentially arriving on the same day pre-orders go live. GTA 6 is still set to release on November 19, 2026, and Rockstar seems firmly committed to that release date, especially with pre-orders going live in a matter of days.
