Somewhere in Another Timeline, We’re Playing GTA 6 Today

GTA 6 was originally supposed to come out sometime in 2025, but after its first official delay, Rockstar set a release date of May 26, 2026. That’s today.

Maybe in an alternate dimension, we’ve already preloaded GTA 6 and hit play, enjoying the opening hours of Jason and Lucia’s grand adventure through Leonida State while admiring every inch of detail carefully crafted by the titans at Rockstar Games.

Instead, we’re stuck in this dimension, where GTA 6 is still 176 days and 14 hours away from launch.

Jokes aside, Rockstar Games’ obsession with detail and polish can’t be overstated, and the studio most certainly had a good reason to delay GTA 6 to November 19, 2026.
