We finally got our “mind-blowing” GTA 6 marketing, and boy, was it. All of the footage was captured on a standard PS5, and it looked amazing.
During the showcase, we got to see a bunch of new characters that’ll have some bearing on the story, so I’ve assembled all those I saw here. Please enjoy.
Raymond

Raymond appears to be in charge of a drug house, but his partner has gotten himself into some sort of trouble. We hear Raymond explain his situation after Jason and Lucia are sent to him to do a pick-up.
Ernesto
The mysterious Ernesto is heard speaking with Raymond on the phone, saying that some of his friends on the task force are on their way. Called “Nesto” by Raymond, the two seem to be in some sort of working relationship, albeit a strained one, since Raymond informs Ernesto that he has someone outside his mother’s house.

Raymond tells Ernesto that he’s always been there for him, before the police storm the place.
Could he be connected to the dirty cop we saw in the trailers?
Mendez

While he’s not new, we finally have a name to connect to the dirty cop we saw in the trailers. His name’s Mendez, and Jason and Lucia clearly have a history with the guy, being worried about whether he saw them as they escape the house.
Lori

We meet Lori when Jason and Lucia go to meet Brian about a job, and she appears to be Brian’s wife. This is unclear, however, since this isn’t expressly mentioned, but it’s definitely very strongly hinted at as Lori says that Brian was quite the stud back in the day, pointing to a long, meaningful relationship between the two.
Raul

While we’ve known about Raul for quite some time now, it’s the first time we actually meet him and get to hear what he sounds like. He runs the job that Jason and Lucia went to see Brian over, by the looks of things, and Lucia is put behind the wheel as a getaway driver while Jason holds off the cops with some pretty impressive shooting.
Val

Val appears to be an assistant of some sort, likely to Andrés de León, the very next character we see.
Andrés de León

Andrés is a high-roller of some kind, clearly wealthy and able to pay Jason and Lucia for protection while clubbing. We’re not sure of the nature of his business, but he could be a celebrity or a part of the criminal underworld, too. He does work for the Megamundo corporation in some regard, however.
Petra Navarro

Petra appears to be Andrés’s partner, since he calls her honey, baby, and apologizes for not being able to spend time with her. She is also the COO of Megamundo, which is obviously some fictional company within the GTA 6 universe.
“The Asset”

This man, presumably the owner or CEO of Megamundo, the fictional company for which Petra works, and for which Andres also appears to work, is only referred to as “the asset” when people start shooting in the lobby.
And that’s all we get. Naturally, there are tons of side characters, and we do catch glimpses of other major characters, but nothing we haven’t seen before.
The cast so far looks extremely varied, and after that kickass showcase, I’m really, really excited for the game now. November 19 can’t come soon enough. If I missed any characters, please do let me know in the comments.

About the author
Kyle first stumbled upon GTA back in 1998 on a school computer, and has been hooked ever since. After missing Vice City, he has not missed another title in the GTA universe. He strongly believes that GTA 4 is still the best, and hopes that GTA 6 can finally dethrone that 18-year-old game.
