There are bound to be a number of safehouses in GTA 6, and while it’s too early to tell definitively which buildings and locations will serve as safehouses in the game, we can begin to speculate.
So, here are all the confirmed and speculated safehouses in GTA 6 so far.
All Confirmed Safehouses GTA 6
This section is a bit of a placeholder for now. We can safely assume that Brian’s house, where Jason lives, is the first safehouse of the game, but that’s still an assumption. We can’t yet say how much time passes in that sequence, and whether we’ll even be able to use it as a safehouse during the story.
So once we get confirmation about safehouses, we’ll be updating this section.

All Rumored or Speculated Safehouses in GTA 6
Basically, all the safehouses that have been “spotted” in the trailers and promotional material are just speculation for now. But with what we have so far, we can make pretty well-informed guesses on where our journey through Leonida might take us.
Key Lento Beach House

Brian’s beach house, inhabited by Jason at the start of Trailer 2, will almost certainly serve as our first safehouse. We could spend a fair bit of time here, too, judging from the fact that Lucia seems to move in here with Jason when she’s released from prison. We can see her coming home from a shift of community service (or perhaps a legitimate job) during the trailer.
It’s assumed that after the score goes wrong, which you can read more about in our article on the GTA 6 story, Jason and Lucia will have to flee this location. But where might they end up?
The Starlet Motel

In the leaks in 2022, we saw an interior of the Starlet Motel, with Jason and Lucia in a room together. It’s the same room seen in both trailers, and where Jason and Lucia share their intimate moment in Trailer 2. So it’s fairly safe to assume that the motel will play some role during the story.
What’s not clear is whether it’s merely the subject of a cut scene leading up to the failed heist, or whether we’ll actually use it as a safehouse afterwards, hiding out in Port Gelhorn. My gut skews towards the latter, but at this point, we’ll have to wait and see.
Ocean View Hotel

The Ocean View Hotel was Tommy Vercetti’s first safehouse in GTA Vice City, so it’s heavily suspected to play some part in the story of GTA 6. What part that is, however, is unclear at this point. There has been plenty of speculation that we might stay here at some point in the story, or even be able to buy the place at some point.
Nothing can be proven now, though, so treat this last entry as pure speculation for now, just for fun. One thing is for sure, those thinking that we may get to meet Tommy at the hotel are almost certainly wrong. We might find an easter egg, but Rockstar has made it clear that the HD and 3D universes are separate, so we’re unlikely to see anything about Tommy having actually existed in this version of Vice City.
There are more speculative takes we could add, such as Boobie’s strip club, but for now, that’s just pure speculation. This article will be updated should anything change.
About the author
Kyle first stumbled upon GTA back in 1998 on a school computer, and has been hooked ever since. After missing Vice City, he has not missed another title in the GTA universe. He strongly believes that GTA 4 is still the best, and hopes that GTA 6 can finally dethrone that 18-year-old game.
